I am on a Ramen-making spree that just won't quit! It all kicked off last month during a delightful visit to my son in Boston. We went to Tora for dinner, I ordered the Miso Ramen, and it was like a flavor explosion that turned my life around! The broth? Oh my goodness, it was a symphony of flavors—soy, miso, sesame—just pure deliciousness! And the toppings? They were like little flavor ninjas, perfectly prepared and balanced. I was a bit surprised by the butter, but hey, I get it now. It may not be traditional, but it’s definitely a fun addition that’s becoming more popular. And can we talk about the pork belly? It practically melted in my mouth, and that egg? Perfectly jammy.
Fast forward 12 hours, and Amazon arrives with

not one, but two ramen cookbooks so I started experimenting. Just two weeks later, I found myself in Cambridge, very excited to attend a ramen class, soaking up even more ramen wisdom. And of course, I couldn’t resist the urge to shop for the perfect ramen bowls. After a mini adventure visiting three different Home Goods stores on four separate occasions, I finally put together a set of six bowls that I absolutely adore. My ramen game is officially on point...except for the fact that I still can't use chop sticks!
If you'd like to gather some friends for some ramen fun just give me a call, I'll have some chopsticks ready for you!
