So, who am I? A passionately curious home cook that wants to help you become more confident in your kitchen while having fun with friends. It is my joy to share my knowledge and experience with you, and the people you love to break bread with.
Almost 20 years ago I left my corporate career to spend more time with my toddler boys. I loved being home, cooking every day…sometimes most of the day! My desire to learn led me to a professional cooking program which instilled in me the confidence to take a job as a personal chef for an actress in Los Angeles. However, after 25 years in Southern California I longed to be closer to my Rhode Island family, so in 2008 we packed up and headed east.
I was introduced to the joy of teaching in my role as the Food Forager and Director of Culinary Education at the Forbes Fifteen Star Ocean House Resort. I cooked, I studied, I visited farms, I went to cheese boot camp (who knew?) but what I loved the most was sharing my knowledge with our guests. Now, I'm back in the corporate world, but ready to share those experiences with you, in your kitchen or mine.
